To Whom It May Concern:
The Migrant Resource Centre (MRC) and Youth Arts & Recreation Centre (Youth ARC), is searching for talented young people with ages between 12 – 20 years of age from all cultural backgrounds to form a multicultural entertainment group.
The MRC and Youth ARC acknowledge that there are many talented young people from diverse backgrounds and from mainstream backgrounds around Hobart and we believe that these young people can benefit from training and mentoring from experienced musicians, dancers, singers and media professionals.
We are holding an audition to form the following groups; breakdancing group, drumming circle and dancers group, solo performers and MC’s group and events management group (please see attached flyer).
The focus of this entertainment groups is to create a supported environment for young people to foster, build and sustain positive relationships between culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) youth and mainstream youth, while creating opportunities for these young people to learn from each other and to support one another in performance acts.
